No matter which baby vintage knitting book you look at, you will always find lots of patterns for “matinee jackets” as they were called. These are just any kind of little sweater that doesn’t button all the way to the bottom and usually has a little bit of fullness or flair. The top can be monogrammed right below the first row of buttons at the the chest. Only a monogram or initials will fit unless the name is 3-4 letter- message us for any special requests.
